Discover the hidden urban wildlife on your doorstep (and local mill chimney)
Visit the trail
Why not have a day out visting all 5 locations on the Bradford Peregrine Trail? It's a great challenge to see how many Peregrines you can spot! Or can you find a Peregrine at all 5 locations? It won't be easy but we'd love to hear from you if you do! Peregrines are resident all year round but there will be more activity and chance of seeing the birds at particular times.
Travel the trail by bus
The 662 bus is the perfect way to take in the Peregrine Trail as it takes you very close to all 5 stops on the trail! There's even currently a trial of an electric bus, which we very much approve of here at BUWG.
Travel the trail by bike
The Peregrine Trail forms a cycle route of just over 11 miles, from Keighley to City Hall. The section from Dalton Mills to Salts Mill makes an enjoyable bike ride that is largely on canal towpath. The rest of the trail is possible for progressively more confident cyclists. The last section from Lister Mills to City Hall will be a more challenging experience due to Bradford's traffic but holds the prize of City Hall's Venetian Gothic splendour.
