Discover the hidden urban wildlife on your doorstep (and local mill chimney)
About
The Bradford Peregrine Trail aims to give a helping hand to our urban Peregrine Falcons, whilst engaging local people with these fabulous birds.

The Trail connects and highlights 5 locations across the Bradford area where Peregrines are frequently seen and sometimes breed. In the countryside, Peregrines will nest on cliff ledges and rocky outcrops. Tall buildings, like the mill chimneys of Bradford, make excellent urban habitats for these birds.
This project would not have been possible without the following:
-
Natural England - for providing project funding
-
Bradford Urban Wildlife Group - the home of Bradford Peregrines
-
MSC Security - Shaun at MSC did an amazing job of installing our web cameras
-
Tom Woolley - is a freelance map illustrator and his drawings illustrate this website
-
Urban Splash - supported our nestbox installation at Lister Mill
-
Mind the Gap - for hosting our camera an internet equipment at Lister Mill
